Artex has a five-years experience in specialized transportation of works of art, on both local and international level. Besides transportation under maximum security, Artex provides its partners also with other relevant interconnected operations. All handling services, wraping/unwraping, packaging/unpackaging, loading/unloading of patrimony objects is done by the company’s specialized personnel by observing the preservation norms within the field.

All cultural goods that are being transported are insured, starting from the moment these are moved out of the exhibition room up until they are brought back to the initial location, in the same preservation state.

Up to now, the most important transportation took place in 2008, on the occasion of the exhibition “Meister der Steinzeitkunst – Frühe Kulturen aus Rumänien”, when Artex transported to Olten in Switzerland more than 1200 objects from 31 museums countrywide. The masterpieces within Brukenthal National Museum from Sibiu represent the biggest value transported so far, value estimated to roughly Euro 200 Million.
